The DECUS Software Library, part of the DECUS heritage held by Encompass, featured a large collection of public domain software, containing hundreds of programs and application packages contributed by users from around the world. It was one of the best sources for utilities, compilers, editors, performance tools, graphics routines, applications, even games, for the Digital/Compaq computer families.
The DECUS Library operated as a software clearinghouse, recruiting and distributing freely distributable software products through a network of DECUS Chapters throughout the world. The DECUS Library did not generate or test the software, so all programs and information are provided on an "AS IS" basis.
