Encompass Members:

As Encompass enters into the new realm of independence from vendor financial support, the need for a self-sustaining membership becomes evident. Therefore, the Encompass Board of Directors recently approved a motion to research the feasibility of restructuring our membership options similar to other independent technical user groups.

This new structure will fund new projects and programs, and provide members with better communication tools. In addition to that, we hope to provide greater national and regional opportunities for peer-to-peer networking and educational events, and create a valid input channel to vendors.

Of the several models currently under review, all have the option of maintaining a free relationship with Encompass as a non-voting "associate". If you wish to submit suggestions or comments you may do so at information@encompassus.org.
